Inflation CONNECT

Connect have blew me away this week with their prices rises, i was at a customer last week with Baumatic Hob B12SS needing a couple of regulators i checked at the time only connect had them in stock and ordered, went back today and fitted as i couldnt remember the exact price of the parts, i thought i would check on line the price was £26.48 plus vat each i couldnt believe it as i was sure they were nothing like that last week, l checked my statement i was charged £14.52 each that is a price rise of £12 in a week £24 for the two parts if i quoted these prices last week with a modest mark up i would have been thrown out the house by the customer i checked on line and various sites are selling for prices from £14 and upwards, i suppose brexit , the pound any excuse will do for them nowadays.
