    COULD ANYBODY PLEASE GIVE ME ANY ADVISE FOR CHANGING THE DRUM SEAL OF A ZANUSSI WDJ1294 WASHER DRYER. THE DRUM SPLITS IN 2 AND HAS A RUBBER SEAL BETWEEN THE TWO HALFS. WHEN SPINNING THIS SEAL LEAKS (TIGHTENING THE BOLTS THAT FIX THE 2 HALFS HELPED, BUT DID NOT CURE).

    When you tightened the bolts did they ALL go tight or are some just turning – if so you may need a new rear half, either way it’s a pig of a job because the whole tub assembly has to come out and it gets even more fiddley on a washer dryer. Might be better off getting an engineer for this one, see Repairs@.

    You need to remove the whole drum assembly from the machine then split the two halves, a bit of a pig job if you haven’t dome one before 🙁
