    Hi guys,

    iv replaced the thermostats twice now and iv noticed the above light is perminantly on, after a day or two the stats then trips.

    iv replaced the pump, iv also checked and cleaned the float plus the float microswitch also seems ok with continuity.

    any ideas?

    provided the stats are correct then its overheating. so its got to be an airflow problem.

    blocked filter, condenser etc or overloading

    Hi Dave, iv checked both for blockages…. does anyone know why the light would stay on? i was under the impression the empty water light was triggered by the float? the float and microswitch seem to be ok……

    if its one of the new style element with the extra long insulation boards cut 2in of the section nearest the dryer as to improve air flow
