Help – we have an Indesit washing machine which is about 4 years old and has worked without any problems but recently we are finding that when the machine is going through the wash cycle there are too many suds in the drum resulting in foam backing up and coming out the dispenser drawer and flooding the floor.
We havent changed the washing liquid, I have removed the drawer and confirmed plenty of water is getting to the drum and removed the filter plug at the front and confirmed the pump is still spinning. Clothes dont seem any wetter than normal when we take them out of the machine.
Has anyone came across this before or any other suggestions of where to look?

or try shaving a few slivers off a bar of common garden toilet soap n stick it in the drum and do a quick wash, if for some reason youve accidentally ended up with something like fairy liquid in the drum that’ll disperse the suds.
