    Hi,

I have just purchased and unpacked a Hoover Heat Pump Tumble Dryer DMHD1013A2.

Started using it this weekend. Have run three cycles so far, one “Mix & Dry” which worked fine, and have run two “All Towels” cycles.

Both times the “All Towels” cycle has got to 5 minutes remaining on the digital display and then carries on for ages without the time going down, probably over an hour before I manually cancel the cycle.

All the items are dry, but it’s as if the timer is “sticking”.

I understand the last 15 minutes is suppose to be the “cooling down” stage.

Any ideas, it is brand new. I’m reluctant to have an engineer repair what is essentially a brand new machine.

no ideas myself but you can ring them up and ask if its normal. Does not sound right as in my books if it says 5 mins I expect it to be somewhere near and once it got past 10 I would be asking why
