    Hi, ihave a rangemaster 110 induction hob that keeps showing E9 on all the rings. It was working fine until i cleaned the surface lightly the other day. Any help will be gratefully recieved, thanks for viewing Rich

    E9 sensor returns implausable readings.

    Suggests failure of either : the pot detector sensor, the temperature sensor or the control/power pcb.
    Sorry but its unlikely this is going to be a ” quick fix “
    Couple of things you can try…. Give the glass a good clean and buff up to ensure the pot n glass get a good contact.

    Unplug the cooker from the mains supply ( or switch off the isolator ) leave for a couple of hours to fully discharge, then try again on the off chance the pcb might reset.
    Other than that its a visit from a man with a van and lots of tools sorry.
