    We have a Liebherr fridge /freezer model no 7082396-00 service no 9989078-02. The fridge compartment is icing up and causing some items to freeze. We have thoroughly defrosted the fridge and cleaned throughout and made sure the defrost drain is free to no effect. We suspect the defrost heater is at fault. Can you please advise

    Hello, if the fridge is over icing and generally too cold, then the problem is likely to be the fridge evaporator sensor, which is located under the little plastic cover that sits on the back wall of the fridge.
    The part number is 9590206 and it should be available from this site.

    Changed the evaporator sensor (I checked the part no with White Goods they stated 9590142 ). Fridge now working fine. Thanks for your help.

    9590142 will do it. Liebherr have changed the connection method and the 206 is the latest one but the 142 is fine.
    In fact we prefer it over the new one.

    The 206 version allows the connection to be inside the unit, if it is not obtrusive, whereas the 142 connection MUST be on the outside.
