    Hi
    Can anyone offer advice about a CDA electric multifunction oven? Moved into a house few months ago and the oven has not worked well and now is switching itself off, jumping between programnes etc. Ive been advised it maybe the PCB and only the manufactuer can repair….does anyone know if this is true? Expensive? Anyone know a good repairer in Leicestershire? Appreciate any help and advice.

    Hey thanks for replying. The previous owners left a couple of booklets….one states 6Z6BL and the other states MX60SS however I think the latter is the gas hob.

    Don’t trust books, they’re often wrong.

    Have a look inside the oven around the door opening and there should be a plate there, that’s the info you want.

    If it is a 6Z6BL then a board problem is possible from what you describe and, there’s two in it a display/input board and a control board. Neither is cheap.

    Looks like it is a 6Z6BL also says SER.NR. 82016 0004
    Going to be expensive then? Is it something only the manufactueuer can do?

    No it can be done by anyone but it’s a bit of a pain that probably not many will want to take on as, it could be either board and both are well over £100, the display car about £160.

    Not fun to be guessing.
