Good evening,
Wondering if anyone can help with an obscure fault on the above AEG integrated washing machine?
The problem shows up on a wash cycle, such as cottons @ 30 degrees, 1 hour 40 minutes.
When selected the m/c fills, agitates/washes, and all is well for around one hour.
Then after draining perfectly, it aborts the cycle and displays 1 in the time remaining window.
After a couple of minutes, the display shows 0 and the door can be opened.
However, if another programme is now selected, the m/c will think about it briefly, before showing 1 in the display again.
After a couple of minutes, or so any programme can be selected, and the m/c will start.
The customer initially reported a fast spin fault, which i couldn’t fault having monitored a spin cycle, and checked the motor carbon brushes, which are fine.
I suspect an electronic control module fault, but would welcome some feedback prior to ordering.

that sounds like a pressure switch fault any fault codes showing or stored in memory ?
have you checked for blockages ?

Good morning Dave,
Yes, that makes sense.
No fault codes present, although i don’t know how to “interrogate” the unit’s memory.
Will return and check the above.
