Good afternoon,
Perhaps someone can shed some light on a potential problem on the above dryer?
I’ve renewed a faulty door microswitch, to enable the machine to work.
However, intermittently the four vertical panel lights ( Drying, Cooling, Door Lock, Programme Complete) flash when a new programme is selected, and the dryer won’t start.
My customer has said it has done this for two or three years, and i wonder if it relates to a cooling phase?
The above sequence ceases after three to four minutes, and drying resumes without any further issues.
My customer is happy with this; i just said i would try and find out why the dryer should do this.

I’m amazed to see one of these still going it’s year’s old 20+ and was proberley the most unreliable range they ever produced!!!!. However going by what your saying I would guess at dirty sliding style contact’s on the selector switch or poor connection’s on the PCB behind the selector switch.
