Beko DW686 functional test not running

Hi,

My Beko DW686 stopped heating water a few days ago and I have tried running the functional test as described in this forum and other places. I enter the functional test mode and the display shows Ft1 and the salt symbol is illuminated. I then press stop/start and the triangular running symbol illuminates but nothing happens. I have unplugged the machine and tried this numerous times but get the same result. The salt container is full if this makes a difference.

Has anyone seen this problem before?
