    This tumble dryer is one of these new heat pump models. When the machine is switched on and a program selected the machine runs for approx. 4 minutes, drum rotates with no heat then the program aborts, all lights go out on the control panel. The customer stated that the machine worked well until he went into hospital 7 seven weeks ago. The machine hasn’t worked since he came back out of hospital 6 days ago. The machine is just over a year old with little use. Any pointer would be of great help.

    As with all dryers, it more than likely needs damp clothes in in to operate, but to test you can select a timed drying function, it will take 10-15 minutes to generate heat via heat pump.
