Bosch Logixx 8 1600 Express

Looking for some advice regarding Bosch washing machine. E-Nr WAS32469GB/24. Programmes start and drum turns but then comes up with error code F42. Motor and brushes look okay but I’ve replaced the brushes and no change. I thought it might be the control module but have been told its unlikely. Any suggestions as to where the problem lies or how to identify it would be appreciated. Is there some way of telling whether there is a fault with the motor other than the brushes? Thanks.
