    Hi,

    Tried this once before but do not seem to get my message on!! My fridge freezer has died and I am thinking of buying a model above that is for sale with the following

    FAN IS NOISY AND STOPS WORKING OCCASIONALY THIS CAUSES IT TO OVERHEAT. (I PRESUME ITS THE MOTOR ON ITS WAY OUT, BUT I AM NO EXPERT).

    DID PRICE A MOTOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO, IT WAS AROUND THE £60 MARK (THERE WERE TWO DIFFERENT TYPES, BUT BOTH ABOUT SAME PRICE), BUT PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOURSELF.

    Can someone please tell me if this is exactly what the owner thinks is wrong and if so – as I am a mother of three will it be easy to fix?

    My advice would be to leave this well alone unless you or the seller pay for an engineers report as it could well prove a costly buy.

    Out of interest, how much is the seller asking for this ?
