measuring with the power off, heater disconnected and on the ohms scale is safer and more accurate

so any ideas what could be causing no heating? can the nts be tested? I removed it and got 90ohms (cold) ran it under a hot tap went down to about 25-30ohms is that ok aswell?

tell me the make and model of your appliance
also did you measure the heater from where the plug goes in ? or the wire leading to the heater element?

beko DW603 I measured the terminals on the heater 30ohms. I also measured the terminals on the NTS, when in room temp 900 when run under hot water dropped down to250ish. Machine runs through wash cycle and completes just leaves everything cold and wet no fault codes showing.

not a lot of info typical Beko
heater is 1800W resistance 28 ohms
NTC values you state seem a bit low to me but I cant confirm as Beko don’t have this info on this model. you are measuring the correct component aren’t you ?

how do you mean ? I removed the nts from the bottom of the drain sump I suppose you would call it, like a small pen top looking item 2 wires out of it, twist fit

yes sounds ok
just had to check as you would not believe some of the stories we get from customersresistance does sound a bit low to me but without a reference to check cant be certain its faulty. They normally list a range of resistances and the temps so you can measure to check its ok but not in this case

check the wires that go through the bottom of the door as i have had a few Beko machines that will not heat ( element ok etc ) and its been a broken wire.

The relay on the board is a common failure on this model

thanks mate will check that to as sounds more feasible than the other components.

Sorted thanks to jimlux found broken wire leading eventually to nts, the loom itself was stuck into the sticky insulation which I don’t think was right so freed it off so it can move a little more when door open/closed. Heat back on and a happy wife. Thanks for all the support
