I changed the heating element in my oven. Stupidly forgot to turn the power off and when taking the old element out there was some sparks. Replaced the new element. But now oven isn’t turning on at all. Have a fuse gone or do u need to buy a new oven?
Thanks,
Ciara
your oven is controlled by a printed circuit board. the chances are when it shorted you blew a track on the board.
remove the board and look for blown tracks. If yes you may be able to repair the track by soldering wire across the break after cleaning it up. then test, if it works sigh of relief, if it doesn’t new cooker
