    Samsung wf1124xau washing machine coming up with error code 3E. Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe It relates to a tacho fault. It was washing and spinning beautifully when I visited so looks like an intermittent fault.

    She did say it sometimes judders and stops.

    Thinking it might be the inverter board. Has anybody had a similar fault. Thanks

    Motor Defect – Open / Short Circuit Windings, Loose Connector, PCB Fault
    Check – Armature ~2? Windings ~1.5?, Tacho ~40? Protector 0?

    I’ve got her try it again after going over the connections. If I get called back I’ll have a closer look. I’m sure there’s no tacho on it as its a dc motor with only about two wires that’s what made me think PCB, but I did only have a cursory look. TA

    It can be the motor but very unlikely. I would be very confident it’s the pcb.

    Yep that’s what I was thinking, but they decided to bin it as it was graded stock. Shame really cos it’s a great machine. Logged for next time. Thanks
