KeymasterHi,
Looking for a new washing machine and have around £300; completely bewildered by the vast range on offer and would appreciate any advice. Seen the base model Bosch (2066?), but would prefer something with a faster spin and higher capacity if possible. Considered the Hoover HNF3157 but not sure about the brand. Can get a Samsung Q1235 for the money but Samsung washers?
…help…please…
Chris

£300? Value for money? 1200 Bosch – 2 year warranty as well. Mr Conway (as usual) is quite right.

Hi,
Thanks for the heads-up. I can get a Bosch WFL2066 for £250 or a WFO2866 for £290, both of which are from the Classixx range; is the 2866 worth the extra or should I try and get a bit more money together for something from the Exxcel range (though money’s very tight and the cheapest I can find the WFX2467 for is around £350 – all prices include delivery)?
The reason I ask is that I was looking through some of the threads and someone mentioned that the Exxcel and Logixx range were pretty good, as if to suggest the Classixx range isn’t?! 😕
Any other suggestions?
Cheers

You get what you pay for but the Classixx range is fine, just built more on a budget to compete with others with a slower spin speed. 😉

P.S. Turn the light ( 💡 ) up on your website will ya, can’t read the wording? 😆

Stick with the WFO2866 with it`s 1400 spin and variable control. The only advantages with the WFX2467 is 3 litres less water consumption, slightly less electricity and an LCD display.
