Ta, not ben out to it yet but the small cul de sac the customer lives in has apparently been hit by a massive power surge. Taken out virtually all connected electronic devices in every house, phones, TV, audio, washers, refrigeration etc.

It was a bit like a disaster zone in this small close of about 20 houses. 8 or 9 British Gas vans there fixing all the broken central heating units.
The washer I went to had a totally fried main module, also taken out the plug fuse. The power surge had also damaged 3 TV’s, the Sky box, telephones, microwave and burnt out the motor to her Stannah stair lift. :zap:

Slightly off topic ,but that reminds me of a farmhouse I went to that was fed by its own supply from the grid ,the power surge had blown every appliance but had also melted the wiring in the wall.all you could see were strips of scorched cabling bursting through the plaster
