    How do I clear this code. I have unbalance the spin as I stupidly washed 1 small item. How can I reset the machine? I had an engineer clear it once before. I remembered how to get the error code to display by pressing the pause + start buttons at the same time but can’t remember how he reset the machine?

    You don;t need to clear the fault code for appliance to work (reset) as far as I know, EF5 is just an error code that comes up if there has been an unbalanced load detected. It should not prevent further loads from spinning.
