    I’ve been to look at this machine and find that although it works through the cycle as normal, at the end it shows E14. It has been standing unused for a month or two, but has no blockages anywhere and is as new. I replaced the distributor valve unit as it wasn’t changing over, but still E14! Any ideas?

    Well as you know chitts E14 is reed switch issues. Have you changed the reed switch?

    Thanks Martin. Yes have changed the reed switch. It turned out being a bad contact on the board. I guess it’s been standing in a damp place. Anyway, by pulling off all the connections and squeezing them a bit, finally 3 loads perfect!!
