I have been reading threads on this forum as well as the articles as I really don’t want to buy and/or repair a washing machine in a short period of time.

I am looking at a few Miele, but they are almost twice what I want to spend.

I might go for it if i find one on sale for around £ 600.

However, it does look like LG is a good brand, and Curry’s is offering a few models with a 5 year guarantee.

I have found the few Bosch that do not have fused tubs, I was wondering if LG is using fused tubs as well, in particular this model:

    LG FH4U2VCN4

    Ideally, my budget is £ 300 – £ 500.

    Any suggestions?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Re: Bosch or LG?

    Hi

That LG does have a separate drum by the looks of it. As an aside LG while they are working are okay but spares can be rather sporadic if and when needed. Miele are still the best but service is limited to their service agents and spares can be costly after the guarantee period has ended.

A little inside info for you 😉 Bosch are starting a free five year warranty on selected products from the 7th June. The WAN28201 is within your budget and will come within this promo 🙂

    Many thanks.

I think we can hold out until then, I may have to buy some socks and pants for the hubby, or go to the local laundromat.

I am probably going to buy more socks.
