    Hello,

I have a BEKO SCG 7521 W gas stove. The elements all work fine and light but the oven doesn’t seem to want to stay on. I seems to take forever to get the oven lit or doesn’t light at all anymore. When it does light it seems it will only stay on for 10-20 minutes before I hear an audible “click” and it turns off by itself.

Question A – Is it the thermocouple? (I took a look at and it seems to be in very rough shape…all corroded and the coating burnt away in one spot). How do you know if its the thermocouple and not the safety valve?

Question B – Where can I get one? (can’t seem to find one on this site)

Question C – Where can I find instructions for this replacing this part on this model? (or if you insist on have a Gas Safe certified tech do it, then how much would you estimate this all to cost?)

Many thanks for your time and help in advance.

    Cheers,

It is more than likely to be a thermocouple but gas safe insist this is done by a registered engineer, regarding cost that depends on whoever you call and that there Labour charge is.
