Hi I have a Bosh washing machine WAS32460GB/08
I put on to a washing cycle and it goes for approx 30 mins and then turns off. Sometimes it has drained sometimes not. I have to turn off at the socket and start again. I usually then go on the the rinse programme which again goes for a while and then turns off. If it’s got as far as the final rinse I will then go on the spin which sometimes gets to the end before turning off. The problems are now happening more frequently. I have had an engineer out who found a collar stiffener in the drain and suggested this was causing the problem. He how says it’s going to be the modular board and will cost approx £250 to fix. A new “modular board” cost £80 so I fail to see what the extra £170 charge is for? More likely the guy doesn’t have a clue as to what is wrong so quoted a silly price so you would say no thanks. 😕
Essentially it’s a connection issue within that needs checking out. From the mains connection into the machine to the connectors on the control module, door lock, inverter board and so on. Mains un-plugged first if you attempt DIY 😉
