    Hi,

I’ve been out to take a look at an Electrolux washer today and the fault code in diagnostics is e31. EWG14750w, Pressure switch problem.
I’ve tried the machine on a quick rinse and it permormed fine.
The lady says it always overfills when it gets to 11/12 mins left, with the water up to the door. This is the final rinse, hence why I tried the rinses, problem is the rinse programme on this machine is over 50mins.

I checked the pressure pipe for holes, blown down it to check for a blockage, all seems fine.
Has anybody else had one of these new style pressure switches fail on what seems like the final rinse intermittantly or is it going to be a pcb fault.

I’m going to order the switch and go back armed, but I was just wondering if anybody has had the same.

    Cheers

    Nick

Its worth checking that the heating element has continuity and decent insulation resistance as I have had faulty elements bring this fault up before.

    Thanks Jem,
I have had the heater put different codes up when theres a short to earth on these. I must admit I didn’t check it, but this does actually overfill. Water up to the top of the door.
