Miele 3204 leak….please help!

New member with a large leak!

I have a Miele 3204 washing machine. It has started leaking from the overflow in the outlet plastic box at the rear left of the machine, the place where the Eco ball sits. I believe it has been leaking for some time but now it has got to the point where the machine stops as soon as it goes on to drain with the check drain and check inlets flashing and water cascading out.

I have cleaned out all the pipes I can remove and there was a lot of gunk in there and a blockage. The impeller on the drain pump seems to spin freely and I have cleared out the soap dispenser. The outlet pipe isn’t blocked as some water does exit the machine and emerges outside at the drain. I have also cleaned the filters in the inlet.

Could this be the drain pump struggling to pump as its been working overtime for so long due to blockage?

Anyone have any ideas on the problem/solution?
