Good Morning, we have a customer with a Lamona dishwasher model number LM8602, it has a weird fault whether you set a program or not it pumps out for 60 seconds then comes to a rest for 60 seconds then pumps out for 60 seconds and will continue doing this all day long resting and pumping. we have done an insulation fault and all checks out okay. I control module has been fitted and we still have the same fault. Has anybody got any constructive ideas on how to resolve the problem. Regards Neil
I had one doing this on fill. Filled, stopped for a minute or so and then refilled again; on, off, on, off, until it flooded the base. It was as if the module got 30 seconds into fill then reset and started again. Tried module and flowmeter in fact metered everything and all OK. It was doing my head in. Turned out to be broken door wires.
Thanks to Bob Norris on here for that info.
Hi Folks, it turns out also to be a broken wire in the door, looks like because they are using very thing wiring they are susceptible to breakages (when will manufacturers learn not to penny pinch on materials). I actually found three wires that broke with the smallest of tugs. As I see it, the appliance was stuck in anti-flood mode the anti-flood micro switch is a three wire switch, so if the switch is open circuit on one pair of wires it goes into anti flood mode and if it is closed circuit on the other pair it does the same. I hope this helps others. Regards Neil
