Anyone had a problem with their HOTPOINT WMFUG942P SMART Washing Machine?
It has an intermittent problem, when washing the machine may successfully complete the 30 minute countdown for example and then ‘stick’ when the 10 min is set for spin. Other times it works well but this problem is definitely becoming more frequent.

Off balance load or too small a load.
Machine will hold the wash countdown until it is happy the load is evenly distributed. This is why it happens sporadically. Watch next time it does it and you will notice the drum slowing and changing direction until the load is balanced.
Unfortunately one of the problems associated with modern large load machines – they need to get the load correct or the tub will hit the sides of the cabinet as there is very little wiggle room in the cabinet space available.You could check the filter isn’t blocked – behind the kick plate.
So not a fault as such but a pain for sure.Hope that helps!
