Hi there, can anyone provide any assistance with supplying a replacement freezer defrost timer for my elderly Vesfrost fridge freezer please? I have been advised that it has failed and that spare is unlikely to be available due to its age (c.20 years) but the appliance is still in such good condition and working perfectly apart from this timer, that I would like to see if I can keep it going.
The timer has a code TMDFX03ZD1 printed on it and the model number is a BNKF 330. Google suggests these timers were also fitted into Scandinova appliances made by Vestfrost for Comet. However there only seems to be one place on Google that comes up (Electrical Spares in Colne, Lancashire) but I think they may have recently closed down. Any other ideas where I might find this spare would be gratefully received. Thank you.

I cannot find it in stock at any of our suppliers.
Just spoke to Electrical sales who have confirmed they are still trading. The part is in stock and available to order 🙂

Many thanks Don. Got jumpy last night after their website threw up a load of security messages saying it wasn’t secure, and then companies house search said company was being dissolved so didn’t go further. However just spoke to a very nice lady who assured me it was a very old website, but definitely still in business. Suspect they may be losing trade as a result. Anyway, part on the way and my elderly fridge freezer lives to fight another day. Thanks again.
