Hi I have an indesit condenser dryer and this empty water light comes on.I have cleaned out all the areas of the dryer and also checked the pump. When I disconnect the black pipe and lay it in a basin it pumps the water but when reconnected up to the collection tray it does not fill it.Could it be the pump is not working well enough or do I require a spare part?
    thanks for any help

Then you should not be using it at all. The manufacturer, the fire brigade, trading standards etc all state that these dryers should NOT be used AT ALL until modified or exchanged.

You should register it at once on the Indesit web site.

They should contact you to arrange for the modification to be done or offer a replacement.
