Hi guys,
I’ve never seen this fault before so I wonder if any of you folks have seen this:
Dishwasher fills ok and washes fine for 5 min on any programme, the dishwasher wash motor then stops, pauses for 10 seconds and then comes on for 10 seconds, then stops, pauses for 10 seconds and then comes on for 10 seconds etc, etc, etc. . .
The dishwasher does this stopping and starting continuously, also it does heat the water.
I wonder if it could be the wash motor??

It does sound like that may well be the case. It does have an auto reset thermal trip. The only sure way of testing the motor in situ is that when it cycles on and off is to pause the programme, let it cool for a few minutes then turn it back on. That way it could run for a few more minutes before the trip starts acting up again. 🙂 💡
