    Hi,

    I have bought a new door seal for my washer and I am looking to fit it myself.

    Can I just pull the old one out or do have have to strip down some of the washer to get it out and the new one back in?

    With the power off, remove lid. The retaining wire around the front lip must be released, then the clamp band around the drum end slackened. THEN, the door seal can pulled out through the door opening. Refitting requires patience – fit drum side and clamp band first.
