Hi,
This is probably very embarrassing, but for the life of me I can’t find out how to pull out the cutlery tray on our NEFF dishwasher.
Model is S517T80D1G/33
The problem seems to be that there is some kind of spray head in the middle of the top of the dishwasher and the tray itself does not have a slot at the back to go past it, it seems physically impossible to pull it out.
Of course the manual is useless and offers no help, and nothing online that I can find either.
Picture below shows the head.
The draw will only pull out about 4-5 inches, I can’t find out how to get it offer the runners because it needs to be pulled out for that….I’ve no idea how it was installed and I’m completely stumped.
The spray head seems to be fed from a duct up the back of the machine and over the top, but why there would be a spray head there, right in the middle of the cutlery tray I have no idea as the cutlery would hit it as well…I’m completely baffled.
Anyone any ideas on how to open the tray, is it an installation problem, or a manufacturing fault….?

is the tray in wrong way round. i.e. does it have the slot at the front ?

Hi, no it has the handle at the front, no cut out on there either…..completely bemused. I can’t even work out how it was fitted at the factory!

Two possible ways of releasing the cutlery drawer:
Get a very long stick/cane or some such to lift the spray nozzle as you slide out the drawer?
Remove the top basket to access the drawer from underneath and unhook it that way?
Your photo appears to show that the top spray nozzle somehow has got unclipped as it should be flush with the roof of the stainless tub. Sadly in order to deal with that the drawer has to be removed.
Final option, contact Neff to get them to sort it as it is under warranty.

Yeah, I’ve contacted NEFF and waiting for them to come back as I’ve sent them photos.
I’ve tried moving the nozzle by hand, I can just about reach in, but it seems fixed in place and I dare not force it.
I also tried removing the drawer, but can’t work out how to unclip it while it’s in place.
Guess I’ll just have to be patient and wait for NEFF to do their thing.
