    Hi, I just fitted a cookology island hood, I can’t find any info on maker !! , worked for about 5 min then stopped working , checked fuse on plug and pcp board all ok, says in booklet it has a cut out any ideas…… many thanks Tony

    Absolutely none, no info on that hood I can find anywhere. 🙁

    Thanks for the reply Kwatt,
    Just for info my cookology island hood is a secret society, found out they are used by Howden joinery group, and are sold as Lamont model Lam2601 …..so reluctant to talk about cookology!
    like I said brand new but been stored for over a year, fitted and worked for 5 min then the safety cut device stopped it and I don’t no how to bypass the switch.. £220 for a new pcb board from howdens, only £229 for a new hood from wrights.

    Is yours the Howdens version ie was it bought from them

    if yes carries 2 years guarantee

    Hi, thanks for the info Dave,
    unfortunately I bought it off eBay it was local and new in the box…. I won’t make that mistake again,
    I’ll strip it down and see if I can fix it myself before I buy another one. Thanks Tony
