Morning everybody, We have been out to this bosch washing machine and all that happens when you select a programme is the door locks then unlocks and just sits there, I am thinking of trying a door lock ??? checked appliance insulation and all checks out fine. Has anybody else come across this problem. Any thoughts anybody. Regards Neil

Usually door lock if it is the instantaneous type. Have you checked the brushes and looked to see if the childproof lock is active?

Did you ever find out the problem with this washing machine as I have come across this fault today.

Just bumping this one back up as I have been to one today, exactly the same machine with exactly the same fault. Changed the interlock and it is still the same. Just wondered if anyone got to the bottom of it.

had seen one engineer who has had problems with the wiring harness between the lock and the timer

Hi Dave,

Thanks for that.
I called back today and checked over the harness between the interlock and the pcb and it was ok. I told them to get onto Bosch but I think they are going to replace the machine, crazy it looks like new and has only had three years very light use.
