The inner glass door on my Neff oven has come loose during cleaning. It looks like it is only held in place by some type of glue. Is this correct or has someone broken it previously and just re-attached.

How should it be held in place? Should I re-attach or replace entire door?

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

will take you to the very thing. Surfaces must be absolutely spotless before bonding.

    Hya
A fnr/enr and Fd number for starters please 🙂
This inner glass is factory bonded and usually means a complete door inner. Some engineers rebond this glass but I have never tried.
If u supply more details I can getp/no and price for you.

    Greg 😉

    The codes are
    ENR B1140W1GB/01
    B-AP11-7

I think these are correct but the codes are pretty faint.

Julz, the inner door panel complete is part number 433840 at £114.60 plus carriage at £7.50.

I can order one for you if required, an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk or follow Penguin’s suggestion and re-glue the existing glass.

    Dave.

    Thanks for the help.

I’m going to try and re-glue the existing glass and see if that works. If not I’ll get back to you regarding the replacement inner door.

I have exactly the same problem with an Ariston Cooker – would love to know how you got un re-glueing the door and what you used.

Im affraid that it is usually caused by strong oven cleaners breaking down the glue. this is why most manufacturers recommend hot soapy water!
