    Hi,

Our existing Neff dishwasher is headed for the bin due to a leak. It wasn’t one of the cheapest by any stretch but did have the stainless/polinox interior (stainless everywhere except a plastic base), which started leaking at the joint.
So, I now need to replace it.
All our kitchen appliances are currently Neff. If I was to go for a Neff dishwasher with an all-stainless interior, am I correct in thinking there is no joint to leak as with the polinox?
Is there any other reason to steer clear of the Neff dishwashers? As I say, other than the leak from this stupid bit of design, the machine has been great.
I guess if I go Neff again, I can strip this old one for spares….

    Any words of wisdom appreciated!

    Thanks,
    MarkP

Re: Replacement for a Neff dishwasher

    Hi Again 🙂

On Neff from the current range the S511A50X!G, S513G60X0G and the S513K60X1G all have polyinox bases all the others from there on have the full stainless steel wrapped inner.

On Bosch anything from series 4 and up will have the stainless steel wrap.

    HTH 🙂

    Brilliant, thanks Don! 😀
The codes are all so similar, it’s a nightmare trying to work out the differences, especially when they have 3 on their website all priced at £719!

I’m trying to get my head around it, but they don’t make it easy! What a minefield. Are there any obvious differences that you can see? The codes don’t give a lot away (to my eyes) and they’re all in the current brochure as well! 😕
I see the S515T80D1G is quieter than the others, but is A+ whereas the others are A++. IT’s also quite a bit heavier for some reason. Goodness me!

    Many thanks for your help!

Top of the range virtually with all the bells and whistles hence the weight (the whistles don’t weight much but the bells? 😉 )

Suitable replacement for your old machine but you may want to have an extended warranty just in case as they are costly to fix. Be sure and use salt as the water softener is vital on these machines. Just using 3 in 1 tabs is no good, trust me on that.

    Hi

You can use the compare tool on the Neff site here quite a handy option.

    Don and Martin,

Thank you both very much for your help on both this thread and my other one. It’s genuinely really appreciated.
This has been a steep learning curve, but I now have a bit of an appreciation of what went wrong with my old machine, and now have sufficient info to select a suitable replacement which should avoid a repeat of the same problem.

    What a really helpful forum!

    Cheers,
    MarkP
