ParticipantSoooooo, after nearly 4 years of storage and no use I excitedly dragged the ISE out of it’s hidey hole, plumbed it in, switched it on, and………….
Works like a charm still, which I’m relieved about given all the stuff I’ve read on the demise of the company. Anyway, as the person who stored it for me is a b**l end and decided to try and move it on their own when they can barely lift a wet tea bag I’m stuck with a dented front drop down door panel. Any ideas where I can pick one up from if indeed they are still even available? I’ve looked on the UK Whitegoods store and also emailed Bryan at FFR, (only just so he may get back to me as yet).
Thanks as ever for the help guys, I’m just hoping I can get some more years out of the ISE yet and pray the parts availability holds up too. Otherwise my wife will beat me within an inch of my life!!

as far as I know Bryan is your best bet. you could look on ebay as a long shot
Also depending on the dent you could ask a car body shop how much they would fill it for and either you or they could spray it

Cheers electrofix, yeah he has got back to me so we shall see. The option you mentioned might be an idea actually although I’ve also had the idea of trying to put a new kitchen door on it instead possibly, or at least a veneer.
We shall see! Thanks for getting back to me though. Anyone have any ideas how much longer the spare situation will hold out?

In relation to my last question, aside from educated guesses on how long the ISE spares situation for the 1606W will hold out? Can anyone from the trade forums offer any insight to what might be expected to fail so I can stock up when I get chance.
Hopefully by now after them being in service for 8 years or so there should be some feedback on what is tending to go wrong in normal service. PM me if you’d prefer but I would really appreciate some help if that’s possible.
Thanks so much all.
