We have a Belling IDW804 integrated dishwasher. Approx 4 years old.

No error message is displayed and the machine appears to be completing the cycles however at times the machine appears to “forget” to either complete the cycle or heat the water, dishes come out cold, dirty and the dishwasher tablet relatively intact in the lower tray.

Called Belling in Ireland who sent out a local repairer who advised he “reset” the machine (75 euro later), despite this the machine continues erratically to half complete washes. On the odd time the machine correctly completes a cycle the dishes are perfect.

If it was a software electrics issue would there be a error message? Any ideas what else to try ? Thanks for any advice 😀

Would advise you to get him back, tell him the “reset” didn’t cure the problem, Belling GDI are located there on the Airport Road so should be able to help you, I think they have their own Engineers.
From experience of the IDW604 there’s a pressure switch in line with the heater & if circulation pump doesn’t put up enough water pressure it won’t activate the affforementioned switch & heating won’t be activated.
Not done an 804 but presuming from experience of dishwashers that there could be a diverter motor possibly that is sticking or circulation pump not getting enough water through to activate.
