Iadom cleverly spotted some spam posts in the Reviews last night, which I promptly deleted all that I could find, but it led me to three conclusions.
1. I need to check that more and so do you guys! Some customers have left comments in there and some of them are just brilliant. In fact I bet there’s people in Peterborough cringing away at some of those and not just because they’re getting laid off.
2. We need more reviews, anyone up for it?
3. To ask that if anyone spots any spam messages in the forums or anywhere else can you please let us know? We do police it and bin it ASAP as you shouldn’t have to read that crap from the scumbags that do it but we don’t see every page every day, the site is now just way too big to do that.

I had to stop after reading the 2nd HOTPOINT one,It was soooo depressing :haier:Does the merloni group read the reveiws on their products I wonder.
Or is it the old ..in one ear out the other without stopping.

There are times I shouldn’t follow you Bryan – very depressing reading for anything beginning with H and I.

Some of those reviews are a bit out of date models now Ken. Dont want to be seen as a stagnating forum, may have to loose some.
Not doing sales anymore kind of restricts access to new models now.yeah I know Mark, I was hoping for some reviews from elsewhere as well. However the sentiments and comments from users are still valid I reckon and it’s best to leave them there for posterity unless there’s real cause to remove them?
I have said before that if anyone gives even a basic review I’d flesh it out for them.

What happened to the idea about “in-service” reviews? Lot of discussion IIRC and far more relevant to us as service engineers than the specifically new ones. We all know that products are built in groups over the platforms life, so if promoted correctly the public could follow UKW engineers travails and make judgements accordingly.

Is it me, or are the spammer slowly dissapearing?
Anyhoo, it was just reading back through some jokes int off-topic forum and found this in ‘another joke’ (page 2).
Two couples were playing The person who posted this is an idiot spammer and has no life ! one evening.
John accidentally dropped some cards on the floor….😆
