Heat proof wiring for ovens

    Hi i have just had a look at an ancient Neff oven which isn’t heating due to the wires going to the element having gone stiff and breaking. Do i need to use special wiring and connectors for it? I normally use the blue plastic butt connectors.

    you should be able to pick up 1.5mm high temp wire fairly easily as for connectors / spades I always use high temp steel when connecting to elements as softer brass or copper soon burn out due to conducted heat. Try connect ELE7580
