Got to fit main oven element on this oven i have done one or two of these in the past but have never been able to remove fan to fit the element and have had to force it to get the element in i guess its left hand thread anyone know the best way to remove it

assume this is the semicircle element
undo fan nut, remove the washer behind it. put the nut back on but leave it about a mm gap from being tight.
find some spanners in your tool kit and jam them behind the fan. get a socket that fit the fan nut and an extension bar. put the socket over the nut. make sure the socket does not touch the fan. then use pliers or a small hammer and tap the extension bar. if it moves spanners will drop out and you will have to unscrew the nut slightly. Be careful as you unscrew nut as you may damage thread if you hit it after unscrewing too farthe odd one I have to add wd40 but try not to as it sticks when you run it later and has to be burnt off before use

oh and beware the copy elements. I use gen only now due to premature failures
remember watching one go pop as I was having a brew whilst testing it
although these days there does seem to be an Irca copy so that should be okDave
