My bean to cup machine is causing me issues… it will produce coffee if we request an espresso…but if we want to produce a coffee with milk (latte or Capuccino) and involve the milk frothing option the machine gets stuck on “preparation underway” status and does nothing…..this behaviour is sporadic but it’s happening more often than not. I have disassembled the machine and cleaned a lot of the moving parts etc..but I am unable to resolve. Could someone advise what the issue may be and point me in the right direction with respect to which parts may need replacing etc….thanks inn advance

Quite a packed machine that one and, no service manual as such.
At a guess something to do with the milk boiler/heater or the pump for milk but, that is a best guess.

thanks – I was contemplating replacing the solenoid valve https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrUmfpMfsBk&t=2s – but a not sure if this solenoid valve has anything to do with the milk issues

There has to be an instantaneous heater of some sort, a valve to pull the milk through it and at guess stats built onto the heater all controlled by the board.
I’d think the milk pulled from the container by the pump will be pulled by one of those small vibrating pump things they all seem to use that looks awfully like a small valve in some cases.
