KeymasterCan anyone advise how to remove the timer module. I have undone lots of screws under the front lip and at the back to try and get access but nothing seems to be loosening up.
QER have confirmed they will repair once I get it out!
Any help gratefully received.

Alastair,
There is no technical information available on this model. Many parts are obsolete including the Timer Controller you are trying to remove, so I can offer little help here. Except that in general removing cooker timer units is accessed by removing the top cover, many are then secured to the glass control panel with a couple of pinch clips and screws.
In any event it should be apparent how it’s removable once you can get a full view of it in place 😉
DON’T FORGET TO ISOLATE THE MAINS FIRST :zap:

See the brown ends parts on each side of the glass control panel ?
There’s two clip on covers, one on each, prise them off with a small screwdriver and all will be revealed 😉

KeymasterThanks Dave, might I ask for a bit more detail.
There is a bronze front bezel that covers the front edge of the glass – Ipresume this just comes away with the screws removed. The back edge of the glass seems to go under the hob it there anything hidden under the hob? the two brown plastic side trime seem very firmly fixed to something But I cannot see any screws – I need some extra courage to tackle them, where do I put the screwdriver to start prising them and in which direction?
Thanks

There are two clip on covers, one on each of the end pieces, if you look at the cooker from the side it will be more obvious.

Yep found them and removed – found singe screw behind each which I have removed but the brown side frames still seem to be fixed at the hob end – should I be removing the hob?

remove the steel side panels(screws at rear and inside side lip of upper & lower ovens) this expose srews for the control panel – ensure all srews are undone then you can slide the panel out – good luck
