A Friends Siemens Machine is sticking on easycare with 1 minute on display,
I checked was heating draining Ok, and I know I should have taken enr number but machine under guarantee so told them to call Siemens, but now they decided they won’t me to repair,
It’s stacked machines on a shelf I would refuse this repair normally.
Any ideas. It’s strange it’s only on easycare

I know they want you to repair but think about it

they will do it for free, if you do it you may void any warranty

    get Siemens to do it

    that’s my opinion anyway

It was supplied with the new house and they think it will take weeks to copy of receipt
Just noticed on another thread BSH engineer said problems with
    NTC which cause this problem.
Question are NTC interchangeable if I have one from another heater.

a lot of 1 min sticks on bosch type machine are caused by heater insulation problems

Martin says the motor leaking voltage also causes this and sometimes this could also cause damage to the board.
    I’m sure Martin will verify?

    Spot on Char14lew
    Siemens replaced Motor,
customers are not going to have this repaired when they start coming out of gaurantee because of the cost.
