    Hello,

I am looking for a freestanding fridge and would like some help narrowing down my search. We are still at the designing stage of the kitchen so I don’t have a restriction on height but I don’t think I want anything wider than 60cm.

I would like something reliable, easy to repair, not very noisy, more than one crisper box, efficient and preferably stainless steel but I can compromise on that. I would like to keep the price under £1000 as I still have to buy a freezer as well. Having searched in the forum here for recommendations I have looked at Bosch, Seimens, Daewoo and Gorenje.

I like the two crisper boxes in the Gorenje, R6193LXUK, but it seems that they have discontinued the A+++ model and now only do the A+ fridge? Daewoo doesn’t have the two boxes. The Bosch fridge with two boxes, KSV36AW41G, is £919 and the Siemens fridges with more than one crisper are over £1000. Are these reasonable prices?

Any further recommendations would be greatly appreciated or narrowing down the above ones too. Thank you for your time.

    Re: Freestanding Fridge

    Hi Katie

Liebherr are the best on the market they also produce for Miele. From your choices Bosch and Siemens are from the same stable would be my first choice then Gorenje and Daewoo.
