I was at a Haier HW50-1002W which is acting strangely. Whatever program you select it runs for 2-3 minutes then the power cuts out. As long as it remains switched on at the plug it will not turn on again, if you turn it off, wait a minute and turn it on again it comes back to life and starts at the beginning of the program again – until the next 2 minutes pass.

I tried it with the lid off and there is no obvious blue flash, nothing clicking, it just turns off. It isn’t tripping the consumer unit, nothing looks burnt out – I’m pretty stumped on this one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if power is getting to the board I would supect the board power supply

had a Miele do a similar thing a few years ago. Ended up it was a power regulator chip on the board that started ok then started to lower the voltage till the board crashed
