My Beko DCU 7230W condenser drying has stopped heating.
Basic checks were carried out (clear airflow, etc), then looked at the heater.
It appeared that the thermostat without the trip-out had no response when testing with the multi-meter. when to order the part and had to order the whole heater unit for it.
Installed it and still getting not heat.
Looking back at when I was looking at it (before replacing the heater) , I did bypass the thermostat as a test and noted still no heat, but thought it could be something else with the unit and a new one would sort it.
Whats my next area to check?
    Many thanks

the other thermostat is a thermistor a resistor that varies with heat

next stop I would check the main control board for bad solder joints

    Thanks Dave.
Any pointers as where to start on the main PCB?
I’m new to the whole electrical testing via a multi-meter.

    Thanks

after this it may well be beyond you.

as an engineer I would check the power relays on the board to make sure they are working

there is also another thermistor at the front. its situated in the airflow in the filter housing

heater thermistor should read 19500 ohms at 25 degrees C
front thermistor should be 12000 ohms at 25 degrees C

these vary with temp so your looking for a ball park figure unless the ambient temp is 25 degrees. but if it very low or very high its prob failed

you could take the control card out and look for bad solder joints

    Dave
