Hi I am new to the forum. I have a Neff D W that intermittently fails to drain, but will drain when put on a rinse program. It also does not always clean very well. Any ideas? All filters are clean and pump impeller runs free

    Three possibilities:

    Pump worn and needs replacing.

Non-return valve in pump outlet port partially restricted with debris.

Drain outlet hose system gunged up with detritus.

    That should cover all. 😀

Thanks for reply. I will check outlet hose, however if pump is worn, it clears remaining water immediately when on a 15 min rinse cycle

Forget the outlet system as that must be clear then. The drain pump must be worn and reacts badly to HOT water, I reckon.

    Hi Martin
I have filled the sump with water at 70 deg, and the pump clears this out fine on the rinse programme, so this eliminates the hot water theory I think.
