    hello all anyone come across the unit it is twin faned the fault is its frozen solid iam asuming the sensors gone but couldnt check it as its so frozen up so if anyone can help will save me 1 revisit thanks. stu

    I’ve no idea who made this one for Comet, and all they list is a bulb for it 😕

    It’s not a Brandt (for a change).

    Anyone know ?

    Scandinova was usually Vestfrost.

    Defrost it completely then move the defrost sensor about an inch further back. The element only runs along the front of the evaporator so they sometimes do not defrost right at the back where the fans are. Also hook a metal strip over the element and drop down towards the drain hole to stop it freezing up. 🙂
